As a young German-Swiss designer, I will set an example in the diaspora and have an international influence.
I think that there is a better way to design textiles and fashion in the future and that the positive choices we all make, no matter how small, have a huge impact on our personal health, the health of other living beings and our planet can.
Based on the raw material, I have an idea of how sustainable fashion can be designed. Fashion with coolness, style and character. Fashion that is visibly more: PAUL KADJO®.
"
What is striking about the collection is that both are clear: the spiritual and intellectual in the history of the designs, and at the same time the appreciation in the use of natural resources, the connection to the earth. Kadjo has a multidimensional understanding of sustainability and his fashion is an expression of intercultural encounters - and fun!

Paul's work really stood out. His common sense approach struck the perfect balance between presenting his unique perspective and making room for his personal story. His delivery of his proposition was successful and warm.
Paul Kadjo asks us about our very human selves, and by wearing KADJO we align ourselves with his cross-cultural proposal, essential and powerful for today's fashion identity of 2021.

Looking for passion.
Born in Germany and raised on the Ivory Coast, I had the chance to gain a deep insight into two wonderful countries.Sustainability plays an omnipresent role for me both on the Ivory Coast and in Germany.
For me, crafts, art and fashion are tools to visually capture my thoughts and create intercultural exchange. They help me to reflect on social concerns between generations and to create a unified solution for the problems that concern us. Fashion in particular unites us essentially. For me, fashion design is not a profession. Rather, it is a means to an end to get my message out there.
The search for passion began with my first fashion label PROTOTYPE By Paul Kadjo (2016-2021). The garments created were initially free of commercial purposes and were more used to try things out and find my signature style.
In spring 2021, as part of my bachelor's thesis at the renowned Academy of Mode & Design Hamburg, I presented the new fashion brand PAUL KADJO®. It was supposed to replace the first fashion brand with a holistic concept and made big headlines with its debut.

AMD STAGE AWARD
With the first collection of the ARTISA N LINE “The Spirit Between Bodies And Objects”, designer Paul Kadjo made a clear statement.
The collection was awarded the AMD Stage Fashion Award 2021 by an international jury consisting of Zowie Broach, Fabian Hart and Serhat Isik. In this context, Paul completed his studies as the “Best Graduate” in the field of fashion design at the Academy of Mode & Design (AMD).
Thanks to this early success for the brand, Paul Kadjo had the opportunity to present his skills at three events at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.
In the AMD “Graduate Show”, initiated by Neo.Fashion., Paul and other talented fashion designers from AMD and 12 other German universities showed their theses.
He convinced the seven-member jury, consisting of Tanja Mühlhans, Antje Hundhausen, Kerstin Schneider, Claudia Hofmann, Sebastian Warschow, Esther Perbandt and William Fan in the “Best Graduate Show & Award” and won the “Best Sustainability Concept” award.
On the weekend of Berlin Fashion Week we took part in the first edition of the "Green Fashion Fair Berlin", the first shopping event for sustainable fashion at the BFW.
In addition to the exhibition of the first ARTISAN collection and the presentation of our first market-oriented product from the MANUFACTUR E LINE, we initiated a slow fashion show with an included talk by the designer Paul.
This year too, Haebmau opened the fall/winter 2022 season with a hybrid version of its Munich Fashion press dates.
Here, the press, media, stylists, influencers and bloggers from all over Germany were invited to be inspired by the latest fashion trends of the season, personally or regardless of location.
In addition to participating brands such as Bulgari, Hunter, MCM, Swarovski and Timberland, PAUL KADJO® was also part of this exclusive event.
The PK team, contributors and partner companies understand the zeitgeist and bring individual expertise to the corporate brand. We understand and respect one another. We talk about past and present social constructs and challenge them - as well as our daily actions - with the aim of creating a sensitive but firm awareness of a sustainable relationship with each other and our environment.
